A small island with great wealth

Fifty miles east of the Atlantic Coast of Nicaragua lies one of the Caribbean's forgotten tropical paradises; Corn Island. It is a small and very nice island. Corn Island is lush with exotic fruit trees, native palms and surrounded by white sand beaches. It has good climate for the whole part of the year, it permits to practice fishing, scuba diving and snorkeling. Those who like walk around it will find scenic view and wildlife sightings. The beautiful beaches and the turquoise water offer a great set of possibilities and the reef is located right off the coast The friendly people of the island are more likely to speak English and Creole than speak Spanish. Corn Island is a world of it is own.

My cousin Valeria

Each of us has somebody in the family, who deserves an award. My cousin Valeria is a success woman. She is sociable, talkative, honest and smart. She lives in the United States. She has been a journalist since 2004. She is a hard-working person. Five years ago, she won a scholarship. She went to Spain. She studied there. Now, she works in The New York Times, an important daily in the U.S. She likes to help other people. She likes to swim and dance a lot, too. Really, my cousin deserves a special award, because she is a great person.

My favorite place

Everyone has a favorite place. My favorite place is my house. I can take a rest without preoccupations in it. I feel safe, tranquil, comfortable and happy when I am there everyday. My house is big and very clean. I can see many plants and birds in the garden. I usually study in my bedroom or in the living room. And I sometimes watch TV in the mom’s bedroom. The kitchen and the dinner room are very spacious. Well, I do not need to find a place any more. I have it own. It is the best site in my life.

Good job for a good life

Two years ago, I needed a good job. When I finished my major in the university, I went to an important company in Managua. I did not get the job because my resumé was poor. I did not practice my career. I was tired and sad. I found a job by internet. My family was happy. I get a lot of money now. My salary is better. Well, I feel good. I reached a personal fulfillment.
